Not only is it a great place to grow a business because it is a great place to live, but it is also in the heartland of America. The agricultural focus is ideal for Combine Incubator Companies that are developing an agricultural technology business. The Combine is developing a network of farmers, the Insights Network, to provide feedback and testing for the companies in the program.

Another great resource for entrepreneurs in Lincoln is the LaunchLNK Grant funded by LPED.

What is LaunchLNK?

LaunchLNK helps early-stage startups get established and grow in Lincoln, NE. LaunchLNK is supported by LPED, and it provides qualifying startups with a $25,000 grant, connections to potential sources of additional capital and mentors, and introductions to local corporations who may become early customers or partners.

Combine Incubator Company, Corral Technologies, founded by Jack Keating, won a LaunchLNK Award in 2021. Corral Technologies uses hardware and software to create a virtual fencing system, allowing ranchers to move, track and record data on their cattle to increase pasture utilization, decrease rent costs and save them countless hours of backbreaking work.

LPED believes that with the level of support and the unique advantages that Lincoln offers, startup founders have a greater chance of transforming their young businesses into thriving companies.

Another initiative led by LPED is StartupLNK. StartupLNK was created to celebrate the startups that call Lincoln home and to help people connect with the resources that can assist with the establishment and growth of their ventures. Lincoln has a thriving and diverse startup community. From weekly and monthly events to strong accelerators, awesome co-working spaces, and plenty of mentors willing to help, Lincoln is a perfect place to build a startup. The StartupLNK Calendar is one of The Combine Team's favorite features, as it makes it easy to find entrepreneurial events across the city every day.

The Combine Incubator is incredibly grateful to the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development for their generous sponsorship. If you'd like to learn more about LPED, please visit their website at https://www.selectlincoln.org/.
