Join The Combine for a conversation with Clint Brauer, Founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Greenfield Robotics, as part of our Ag Robotics Conversation Series.


Greenfield Robotics is tackling one of the most entrenched challenges in row crop farming: weed control without herbicides. Founded in 2018 and based in Kansas, the company builds BOTONY autonomous robots, small AI-guided machines that move between crop rows and mechanically cut weeds at ground level, day and night. The approach lets growers reduce herbicide dependence while keeping their no-till systems and soil biology intact, all in service of regenerative agriculture at scale.


Clint's path to this work is personal. A third-generation Kansas farmer and former Sony and Fox technology executive, he returned home after his father developed Parkinson's disease with a mission to reduce farmers' reliance on chemicals.
