ALA Engineering is bringing full autonomy to one of agriculture's harshest operating environments: the commercial feedyard. Spun out of Nebraska-based Aulick Industries, which has spent generations building and servicing feed trucks, ALA set out to rethink the feed truck from the ground up. The result is an autonomous feed truck built alongside producers and designed to help feedyards address labor challenges without disrupting how they operate. That work has since expanded into AGEO Autonomy, taking the same autonomous vehicle technology into other off-highway industries like construction and mining, with cattle feeding as the proving ground.
